I see threads from time to time about chips from them which didn't work as they should, etc., and wondering, what happened to them?

They were big in the 80s and 90s, just outside DC in Fairfax, and now they seem to be gone. What's the story, legend, or tall tales?

The owner died. His wife tried to keep it going. The best mechanic(s) left....and so on. A sad end. The shop was still limping along as of 4-5 years ago.

Interesting stuff. I recall going to their shop in late 1989 or 1990, when it was off Pickett in Fairfax. I am not sure if it moved, or not. But I was in that area a few weeks ago and didn't see any signs, so wondered.
