I shipped my 928 Spyder twice with Reliable Carriers with positive results both times. Once from KY to WI, then from WI to SC. Because of the fairly remote destination point in WI, it made a stopover at their Detroit hub both times, but they told me going in that it wouldn't be point to point. Nice, professional drivers, car arrived in good condition both times, etc. I'd use them again and also might look at Angel's which I think is also a Rennlist sponsor that has positivr reviews. Delivery in WI - June 2014
Did you go with Montway or another broker/carrier?
I stuck with intercity. I've used them before. Seattle was just out of their way so the date of pickup was a little up in the air. But it's now this weekend, a week after the order was placed so it ended up being ok.
I personally don't like the idea of using brokers. But was considering it if I could get the car faster
So, I finally did recently have a 928 moved by VIP Transport Inc. (www.viptransportinc.com).
They have a nice facility in Charlotte where you can drop a car off, and it is taken care of. It is a kind of facility for classic cars. So, it's comfortable to work them, if you have a car in above average shape.
But, they did have truck troubles in the Chicago area. That caused about a week delay. Overall, though I was happy, because the handling of the car seemed conscientious.
They aren't brokers, and they seem to own their own trucks. BUT, beaware because I think there is another company with a similar name that is a broker. (For this reason, I put the weblink in to the company I finally used.)
They will be the first company I contact, when I move a 928 again.

+928! Intercity all the way. Great communication from quote to delivery. Awesome service all the way around. Worth every penny.
Plus they usually have something on the trailer worth looking at.
This was under wraps when they delivered my 996TT!

I have used Knickerbocker Transport twice, with no problems whatsoever. He is an experienced broker, very reputable and pricing is very competitive. In fact, I was surprised how much better his pricing was compared to the "brand names" referenced in this thread. I used him for a transport from CA to PA, and again from PA to NJ.
