Default Diagonal brake circuits

Has anyone converted the earlier diagonal braking circuit into a standard front/rear type braking circuit? It seems to me (for track purposes anyway) that a front/rear type circuit would be better than the diagonal type. Yes, No, maybe?

diagonal use two proportioning valves ,the two front two rear uses only one proportioniing valve to reduce the rear brake power . No other real significance that I can see........

Thanks for the reply Jim. If the 2 proportioning valves are slightly different (but within factory specs) couldn't that translate to slightly different clamping forces being applied to different wheels on the same axle once the proportioning valve pressure is exceeded? I think the single valve front/rear setup would eliminate this. What parts might I need to make this conversion?

You would need to make up some hard metal lines there are no stock parts to do that task and determine which proportioning valve you wish to use .

The diagonal system would be somewhat safer in case of a failure of one circuit under combat conditions...

I guess I'll be keeping the diagonal circuit. Thanks for all the inputs!

fyi;

I still run the diagonal circuits on my '80 S GT2S prepared racecar. John Veninger and David Lloyd have both migrated away from this setup on their cars, and have added a brake bias adjuster.
