1979 Euro Project

Haha, I am trying to gage the value myself, I have no idea what it's worth in current condition or in a good running condition.
I am finding the prices of these things are all over the place. I will eventually start to get a feel for values over time I hope.

Seems to be in pretty good shape, and unmolested for the most part. Looks to have a lot of the original items, surely a plus...if you are returning her to original status.
That antenna thing in the roof is a shame, but repairable if a paint job ever happens. Regardless, the car is well worth taking on.
As far as electric issues go, mentioned earlier by someone, these 78/79 are a bit less challenging. Since there isn't any electrical stuff for a sunroof, door locks, seats (unless it has this option), rear hatch electric release (at least my 78 doesn't have one, not sure about 79) and a few other things.
Good luck, with this project. You found yourself a nice project, in my opinion. Looking forward to following along.
Brian.
