Yes, truly looks like a much better example......nice interior/straight dash, fender/hood VIN stickers there, receipts, original keys, etc. The only thing I did see was that it was missing the seat/mirror memory switch for the drivers seat......and I believe it was standard an S4. Hmmmm, did the car not come with it? If I remember correctly only cars that came from the factory with sport seats did not have the memory setup......just somethin'
to ask about.......
to ask about.......

Warren: There is a thread here that contains a link to a STL newspaper and complaints, I emphasize plural, about the dealer and deposits and out of state buyers. The stakes are high . . . well that also is a personal issue.
Re Ebay and buying sight unseen, same issue really, some/ many have had good experiences. YMMV.

Check the forum for thread "another wilhoit" . I have pasted part of one post with a link to the local paper which describes the schmitt dealership as having problems. Ebay is a nightmare. deal only with private individuals who you know well.
"Guess it's time to repeat the admonishment - before you buy any car from any dealer in any town (especially, oh, I dunno, say STL for example) please go to www.riverfronttimes.com and search for his name."
You may just find an article that will give you just a small sample of the way that he does business.
If that doesn't convince you, find and speak with someone in the car scene in STL.
