SOCAL 928 is pleased to announce an upcoming Porsche 928 event to be held in Southern California, at 928 International actually, on October 18th and 19th, 2003.

We are very pleased that 928 International has graciously offered to host this event and provide their well-known expertise with our favorite car ever! Thank you Mark Anderson and Jim Bailey.

It's been a while since there's been an event in Anaheim (2000, I think) and it's high time we did it again. We also owe John Eifert a huge thank you for helping us avoid overlapping with the Frenzy dates. Thanks, John.

Thanks also to Marc and Susan of Devek who let us hand out our SOCAL flyer (this time, a 2-sided deal with the event announcement on the back) at their always spectacular and now 7th annual Devek Days event.

We are planning a series of tech sessions on Saturday and a Fun Drive and possibly other activities on Sunday. Save the date now and make some plans to head on over for some shark fun in the Fall.

Well, lets see....I can go to Sharktoberfest, have a great time, meet lots of fellow sharksters, check out 928 Intl in person, etc. etc.....or stay home and get married.

That sounds like it would be a lot of fun. That would be the longest trip that I have ever made in my 928. But it would be fun though. I would really like to see where a lions share of my money is going to (928 International... are you listening ?). I may have to really finish my nose repaint and make the drive.

Have you guys down there picked a Hotel for some of us "out of towners" to stay at or should I just "wing-it" and get anything nearby. It would be kind of cool to stay where there would be other Shark owners staying. Thanks.
