Default Refitting Inside rear view mirror

Hi. Is there a trick to getting the inside rear view mirror to slide over the little metal disk?

I can not get it to sit proper against the top of the mirror bracket, even before the disk is glued to the windshield.

At least I got "proper" 928s4 glue.

Thanks

I have had luck with sliding the metal tab into the mirror holder. Then putting the glue on the tab. Then holding the whole assembly up to the window for a minute or so. It will then stay there by itself and cure.
Gluing the tab first and then trying to slide the mirror after the glue has cured did not work for me.

Thanks Bilal - Did it that way, and the 928 specific glue worked
