bureau13: The light does illuminate when the AC button is depressed. I believe the control system is doing what it is supposed to.


dr bob: I replied to your post in my thread 'Road Trip!'
I have Dwayne's guide open on my iPad and had been looking at the section on the HVAC relay.
Tonight at work I will review his entire AC troubleshooting guide. Tomorrow I will get my gauges and check refrigerant pressures.

docmirror: I agree. Right now, I am fitting separate fused relays for the compressor clutch and the condenser fan. I have ordered the current Radio Shack 12VDC DPDT relay. I will wire it in shortly. Fix it before it fails.

Tomorrow I will check the refrigerant pressure and go from there.
