For 30k you'd think that would include the jump post cover.

Are the "for sale" threads being moved/consolidated into the "928s for sale" thread?

What? The truth hurts? It's a freaking $8 piece of plastic.
But it's absence indicates a lack of attention to detail. You'd think that with that much work being performed, someone would have noticed that it was missing.
It's a lovely car. It'd be worth $35k with the J/P cover.
I think that it's more of a place for them than anyone actually consolidating them.
I'd say that this spectacular and nice of a car is deserving of it's own thread.

This is a seriously nice car. We can find a few nits, but let me quote from Hagerty's description for a #2 "Excellent" car:
#2 vehicles could win a local or regional show. They can be former #1 vehicles that have been driven or have aged. Seasoned observers will have to look closely for flaws, but will be able to find some not seen by the general public. The paint, chrome, glass and finishes will all appear as excellent. No excessive smoke will be seen on startup, no unusual noises will emanate from the engine. The vehicle will drive as a new vehicle of its era would. The one word description for #2 vehicles is "excellent."
And just for reference, I believe that there were 367 GT's imported into the US, of which 138 were '91s.
So I second the motion to fix the nits and raise the asking to $35K.
The jump-post cover is easy (928-612-871-02, MSRP $5.34).
The radiator has been changed and lost its labels, check with Henderson for replacements (some are available, not a match for color but genuine Porsche). The middle "high voltage" sticker is 964-701-163-00, the left-side (car's left side) firing-order sticker is 928-006-105-03, both available for a few bucks.
Whoever converted the aircon scratched "R134" on the radiator in place of a replacement label. Tacky. Check with Henderson for a 964-701-141-02 R134 label used by Porsche for R134 conversions (MSRP $3.33).
Beautiful car, good luck with the sale!

I think a sticky thread with "Hey Look!" posts about other people's cars found on Autotrader is helpful for folks looking. Member's cars, especially ones this nice, deserve their own thread.

Hagerty's current valuation for a #2 "Excellent" 1991 GT? ... $33,800.

The jump-post cover stuff is getting a little tired, and risks spoiling the presentation of the car in this thread. maybe we need a separate thread on cars offered, where readers can post their thoughts on each car's missing or present cover/ Like a one-question poll, with the ability to vote on a car-by-car basis?
Meanwhile, this is an excellent example offered at a very fair price. Someone is going to be very happy buying this car.

My point is NOT that this car has issues the seller hasn't disclosed. It's that, unless we know the car personally, it's premature to endorse the car as an excellent example offered at a fair price.

Great cosmetic condition.. looks like it needs mechanical work (cam covers appear untouched? they don't match the intake), but thats easy and can be considered servicing work rather than restoration.
Importantly, it still appears to be original interior and paint, which once gone can never be "restored" back to factory status.. so definitely in the more collectable end of the 928 world!

Are you sure it's a good idea to pull off the cam covers for cosmetic reasons if there are no leaks and no problems underneath? At 86K miles, I don't think untouched cam covers detracts at all.

In the case of sub-5k mile cars I can see some collectors wanting to say "it even has the original sticky tape residue from the dealer delivery note" and leaving everything untouched, but for a car with 85k miles, replacing all the rubber/plastic just counts under "service history" IMHO, and is better than having it be driven with 25 year old fuel, oil and PS lines with the risk of fire.
