1989 Porsche 928 GT - SoCal from new. Major Recent Refurbish by Brown
We just got this car in on consignment from a local owner who bought it a couple years ago and went down the rabbit hole BIG TIME. He was convinced this would be his "forever" car and money was no object. Needless to say, after a couple few years and $35k+ in receipts, he's gotten bit by the racing bug and selling several of his Porsches to buy a race car. (Bad move in my opinion). Oh well.
Anyway, I figured one of you would post it soon enough since we just started listing today. So, the majority of the details and over 140 high res photos are on our website at www.autokennel.com.
Cheers,
Paul

The GT looks great...but the 201,000 is hard pill to swallow even though it's been rebuilt...

Paul (Autokennel) seems to know Gregg's rep here as he referenced in the subject line. Gregg likes it, so that is a positive, but out of all the receipts only 3 are from his shop, [Nate caught this there are 10, I have cataracts, seriously, don't get a multi-focal lens] maybe they rep a significant number? But I would really want to look closely at all those receipts and what Gregg did in relation to the mass of paper shown.
Just my 0.02

Intertesting GT, I see that it had a Black Interior originally, Looking at the interior in it now, it does not look like Cashmere , but resembles more of a light tobacco color, which I really like. Anyone know why the interior was switched if it was only because of wear. Tony?

I also like the black 89GT..... I'd imagine it looks stunning in person, since black never shows that great in photographs. I also like slightly darker tan leather, but a couple things I would nit pick are the rear AC vents & the rear AC **** on dash plus digital clock...these items aren't that expensive and really show attention to detail like the steering wheel. 201k on chassis is also going to drag the price down... The upside is a real clear title 89 GT with documentation of proper care back to day one....
