Default Hydro Dipping Intake

Has anyone tried to have their intake or valve covers hydro dipped?

Not yet, talking to a local shop about testing on a spare 16V plenum I have to see how it turns out.

I also have multiple spider legs at a local plating company testing them for anodizing. This is not an option for the 32V since magnesium cannot be color anodized (and they don't do mag either way)

I've wondered about various parts myself.

Should be nothing harmful to the motor if you dip the intake. If you really want to, you can plug the intake runner mouths during the dipping process to keep the decal out of it.
