I believe the muffler is the same but part of the mounting bracket is different,. Perhaps Jim can comment

nope don't fit on like that, think the one you have there is more a 78 fitting!!! just a guess

78-79 bolt on. 80-86 are welded on

This one is a 928-111-031-04
According to Porsche PET the 03 is for 1978 and the 04 is 1979
