So Mark and I am not being funny what is the best bat to get? As I have not played baseball in 50 years. Thanks a bunch to everybody.Ray

this is a serous subject! im not laughting. use bats are a little better, and the best place is to go to a play-it-again-sports kind of shop or goodwill. my prefernce is a louiville slugger! but most any wood bat will work .

the trick is to do it in small steps , this way you dont need heat.
usually, ill jack tghe car up to get the bat in their to get the lip taken care of. same with the front. this is a critical 1st step.
THEN, you can start using the neck of the bat and rolll the car back and forth with the help of a friend, keepiing the bat pointed straight down. (to avoid a duck billed lip effect) eventually, you have the middle of the bat up in the fender, and are rolling the car back and forth , gaining the 2" or so max you can achieve with no paint or metal distortion.

I wish i did a video of it, as ive done this many times.... there is some skill involved, but the light rolling most anyone can do.
