I'm posting a poll as to if our community would like to elect maybe the top four voluntary, non-compensated, publishers of guides and how to's for the benefit of the rest of us. I have never personally met any of the top forum guide publishers and therefore have no affiliation. Based on the results of the poll, perhaps those of us who wish to could voluntarily drop a few bucks into their paypal for their diligence in sharing. Think about it and if the poll shows positive results, then we might take the next step, which would be an election.

I would gladly throw a few bucks or gift cards of a sixer of beer to those who have helped me. I don't know what I'd do without the guidance that I get here (well, I'd be paying someone else to do it, but that might make ownership impossible). Like I mentioned in the Two Questions thread, I have no problem paying $$$ for value, and I certainly get that from the advice I receive here.

I've seen on other boards links to PayPal accounts of users that you can contribute to for thanks. I'd even be open to that. That would negate the need for a poll, and would allow those who might be open to receiving monetary donations to publish the link themselves.
