"short of drilling them"....

One thing you can try, first.....hit the head of the bolt with a steel punch about the same diameter as the entire head of the fastener. Hit them hard.....several times. This will sometimes loosen the grip the head has on the washer (the actual problem is friction of the head, not the actual threads.) It will also "reform" the allen hole and sometimes allow you one more try with a good 6mm allen.

Good luck getting straight up and down on the head to hit it....the seat never moves far enough for me to be able to accomlish much, with this technique.

Heat also helps reduce the friction of the head, although this is not a very comfortable place to be using an open flame.

Sometimes, an American allen can be driven into a very rounded 6mm allen screw and "form" the hole to get a good grip.

Again, tough to get straight up an down to hammer the American allen into place, because the seat is in the way.

I've used a hammer and a chisel on the side/top of more than one of these fasteners to get them loose. Yes, this is tough to do with the rail on both sides...but sometimes the only choice, when the above has failed.

EZ Outs have always worked for me. I use a very long extension, place the ez out in the bolt head and press it against the seat bottom as I turn it CCW.

My late mechanic's advice still rings in my ear: Always place the allen socket in the bolt head and give it a good whack. You will feel when the socket bottoms out and it also can loosen the grip of the washer as Greg mentions.

I had to drill one per seat out on my GT. Total PITA, but eventually successful with a right angle drill. Now I never tighten them super tight, just tight enough.
