How can I remove this?
Hi folks,
I am still inspecting wires on my '92 GTS door , power mirrors are still working partially(left not working at all, right mirror works only up and down) and out temp sensor works depending on how much force I use shutting the door.
Everything seems ok but I have to inspect cut wires going through this piece of plastic:
how to remove it?
can I cut this and put back in place?I can slide it back and forth , but not enough.what is the trick to remove it?
any help is really appreciated, it is the last electrial gremlin to fix on my car(hopefully) .
thank you!
Francesco

If you remove the door panel, that will give you better access to the wiring harness. I would not cut the tube, since it would probably snag wires and stuff as you open and close the door. Once you have the door panel off, which takes about five minutes, the tube will slide out of the way.
Plus, with the door panel off...you can lube the window regulator and guides, and the door handle linkage while you are in there.

definitely do not cut it. Here is a panel removal link with pictures, to get behind and inside of the door. This is a very easy process, and nothing to break (although you may need to replace a couple of those plastic door panel clips, which can be found at most auto parts stores or even at Home Depot). Anyway, just follow the procedure and you will have easy open access to those wires.
