Default Silly question about 928 OC etiquette...

Hello all,

As the title says, I have a silly question. Is it poor etiquette to join the 928 OC if I don't yet have a 928?

I want to join the OC. My slush fund is growing. I am starting to search, but haven't purchased a 928...yet.

Thanks for your time and any bricks that might be thrown my way,

Seth K. Pyle

Go for it. Learn as much as you can before you buy a car. It will help you find the right one and possibly save you thousands of dollars by not buying the wrong one.

One of the smartest thing you can do is joining Rennlist and the 928 OC. Learn much you can. (In best Yoda voice). You'll go into your search with far more knowledge of what to look for.

Besides at any given moment in time some % of the 928s are not running and driving anyway

No shower of bricks.

So, as easy as that, I am now a registered member of the 928 Owners Club, Carolinas Region.

Thanks,

Seth, check out the post for Sharks In The Mountain gathering in Banner Elk, NC. If you can make it, you'll see a lot of nice 928's and get to talk with some owners.

Welcome, Seth! Let me know if you need any assistance. Both the OC and Rennlist are great resources, and money well spent IMHO.

Glen, I went to SITM last year and had a ball. I am already registered and booked for this year.

JWise, thanks! I have been on Rennlist for over a year and a half now. OUTSTANDING forum. It has given me the courage to tackle pretty much anything a 928 has to offer. I am just now starting to dig through the OC forum.

kcattorney, its not a problem. I got this kind of welcome when I joined Rennlist. I very much appreciate the help and advice.

I commend you for searching out tech forums BEFORE you make a purchase.

I'm frequently amazed to see some mope show up here a day or so AFTER buying a 928 asking questions.
