Shortly after she started calling it Fluffernutter she shortened it to "The Fluffster" So I guess one could say that Fluffernutter is it's legal name and "The Fluffster" is it's street name. Caroline is a great woman and has been very supportive of me and this car, I am a lucky man, she even gave me a jar of it as a gift. I keep it in the car. She would tease me about it and I would say "I can't use that! they'll laugh me off the boards!, How can I tell the owner of Blumaxx and the Silver Bullet that my car is called the Fluffster!" Well the name has stuck and I have actually gotten to like it. "The Fluffster" rolls off the tongue.
I am now off to talk about sports and watch a John Wayne movie!
HAHA! Sorry buddy, no way out of it now. That IS the name of your car.
Caroline would say "You know that's the name of that car now!" and I would grumble something back to her and she would laugh. The laughter got rather loud when we were headed out somewhere and without thinking I said "let's take The Fluffster" ...and so it is......I'll never live it down!
It turns out the car came with a folder from the previous owner who had put $45,000 into this car since he acquired it in 2006!! It also had a working original and functioning radio, stainless locking gas cap and unused and hopefully original "Car of The Year" sticker along with some old 928 magazines. (
I love this car and I am very lucky to have it.
And people sometimes get upset when I point out that many owners have spent lots of money on their 928 , here is another example of about $4,500 per year !!
