I actually meant this to be a new post entirely. I put it in the wrong spot however.

Given the number of Playboy models given 928s in the '80s, and the color combo, I'd call it Fluffernutter.

Shortly after she started calling it Fluffernutter she shortened it to "The Fluffster" So I guess one could say that Fluffernutter is it's legal name and "The Fluffster" is it's street name. Caroline is a great woman and has been very supportive of me and this car, I am a lucky man, she even gave me a jar of it as a gift. I keep it in the car. She would tease me about it and I would say "I can't use that! they'll laugh me off the boards!, How can I tell the owner of Blumaxx and the Silver Bullet that my car is called the Fluffster!" Well the name has stuck and I have actually gotten to like it. "The Fluffster" rolls off the tongue.
I am now off to talk about sports and watch a John Wayne movie!

Caroline would say "You know that's the name of that car now!" and I would grumble something back to her and she would laugh. The laughter got rather loud when we were headed out somewhere and without thinking I said "let's take The Fluffster" ...and so it is......I'll never live it down!

You can commemorate it with a vanity tag "FLUFSTR"

I love this car and I am very lucky to have it.
And people sometimes get upset when I point out that many owners have spent lots of money on their 928 , here is another example of about $4,500 per year !!
