928 Japanese market front fender flares
Hello to you all!! I am trying to locate or at least get more infos on the front fender flares that were added to the Japanese market 928. (like the ones in the picture) I know a lot of you think they are ugly as hell but they are exactly what i'm looking for. Any idea how to find them, get them? is there a part number for them? any infos would be greatly appreciated.
Big thanks

The rear extensions are listed but I have never seen the fronts listed at all.
Rob Edwards may know.

Those front flairs are thin fibreglass and extremely flimsy. They don't feel like a OE Porsche part to me. Could be aftermarket parts made in Japan for their market only. If you haven't seen one in person, I suggest you try to do that before deciding to get them. To me they look odd as they push the endge of the fenders out but the tires remain recessed at their facotry location. They remind me a bit of the fender flairs that cargo conversion camper vans have.

I have not been able to figure out the conditions under which these flares were added in Japan. Supposedly it was a regulatory requirement to cover the exposed tire, but not all Japanese market 928s had them. My '90 does not for example.

Are you sure there weren't installed? If they were when car was new there should be few small holes in fenders. In any case they were only installed since some time in '90 or '91 MY IIRR. Last S4's should definitely have them.

Not exactly, some S4s had factory GTS quarter panels and painted fiberglass rear spoiler but rectangular side mirrors. So they might appear GTS as first glance, they are actually executive optionned S4s.
