Default 054 heading to a new home

Garage stored last on the road in '93 -it will need a full restore. I bought sight unseen based on pictures only. It is a non runner said to have had fuel issues as the diagnosis and reason the intake was taken apart. I'm sure I'll be in for surprises but it's original equipment books and factory invoice was there so that must stand for something hopefully it was well maintained.

Looks like a fine starting point. Especially, if it has all of the usual "missing" items that seem to disappear on 78's.

Looking forward to more pictures. How did you find #54? How long before she is in your hands?

Good luck, with your restoration/preservation.

Brian.

Looks pretty good from here - way to go.

It popped up on here back in January.

Dunno if that's how this fella found it, but I remembered the "It's having a fuel issue, lets take the intake apart" thing.

Coachhouse - you the guy who scooped it off Ebay Or did you buy from another source? Curious also to see what's included in that back hatch area? Tools? Air pump? Gloves? Bulb kit? It's like Christmas!

Yes Alex -I scooped it off eBay $3500bin. I was tempted at the first listing in Jan but hesitated and it sold and I was filled with regret. So..... When it listed again I popped didn't hesitate.
I agree who knows what is in the back. Shipper told me last night the buyer loaded something "special" in the truck along with the original spare. Ya -just can't wait for Christmas and hoping the ***** are there from the original Porsche cassette.
I will be sure to post the full list of trunk items. Tbc....

If you're missing the *****, Jim Doerr has (had? not sure if he's sold 'em all to Alex yet) factory radio installation sets, which include the ***** and faders, along with adapter brackets, etc.

Good to know! -What would new replacements cost regardless if they are in the car if NOS is available might as well make my first parts purchase.

We all know William enjoys the dirt removal process. I wouldn't want to rob him of that

No we wouldn't! Here's his most recent work, cleaning behind the flywheel.
