Well, it's Texas. If the church was in, say, Houston and she lived in, say, El Paso; then it would explain both the miles and the need for a 928 to go to church.

Ran across that same car at the 2014 OCIC up in Calgary. Still looking good...
This is the one Tom speaks of. 86 Euro, 28.45 Australian spec engine. We had a grand time in Kananaskis in 14.

Compared to 86, this one has S4 upgrades, larger brakes, S4 rear wheels, dual exhaust, different rear jack pads, polycarbonate windshield, but an early VIN 0146. 288 HP 32V, 5 sp with 2.73 gears.

well the reason I asked about it is that there is one for sale here. It is a 17K mile enthusiast owned car, guards red, black interior. A couple of reversible mods. He is looking to get $26K for it. I have no interest in the car, but was helping another buddy try to value it. I think the $26K is proper for a retail value. It needs a TB/WP job and probably fuel lines, but is otherwise up to date. It does get driven. It may be at Hershey this year.

All 86 ROW cars both 16v and 32v have the S4 suspension and brakes so nothing unique at all.

I meant comparing to the early 86 US, not ROW or 86.5

That is what is called "pipe organ" or "organ pipe" - looks like the organ pipes in Church.

86 ROW & 86.5 USA/CAN also use the 87 expansion valves - trivia.
