Maybe Hans or DR can fix you up with the proper lower manifold.

I would think 10 PSI but I'm not an SC guy
You could do better than these current #'s w/ the intercooler and yes it does have one, however it's currently set to 6 PSI of boost.

From the original post:
"Dyno showed when first installed the supercharger with no intercooler
6 psi boost and stock exhaust and it made 375 RWHP and 329 RWTQ.".

As per DR's archive of Andy Keels website:

Intercooled upgrade=
"With this upgrade you can expect a minimum of 475-500 Crank HP on 91 octane with lots of room to grow.
Included is: Air to Water Intercooler System. The intercooler is integrated in the manifold and resides in the V of the engine.
It uses a highly efficient bar and plate core and a heat exchanger designed for water/glycol (not oil cooler).
BEGI 2025 boost sensitive rising rate fuel pressure regulator is provided to add the additional fuel needed for the higher boost levels available with intercooling.
'85-'86 owners receive 8 30# Bosch Design II fuel injectors.
7 or 8psi or higher pulley, depending on fuel octane availability and other factors. Add $100 if Stage 2 is purchased as a later upgrade."

Thank for asking MJ, how's them door handles looking

Dave

Andrew and I were thinking it would fit any 5.0 but not a 16v.

If anyone knows for sure, please advise.

Thanks!

Haven't pulled it yet but I bet this will fit both S3 and S4, doubtful Andy would have built/ tooled two different manifolds.

I'm curious how loud this thing is on boost, from the cockpit? Also, wondering if all that extra oomph low in the revs would be an issue for the 5-speed cars? I remember people talking about the big strokers being hard to launch with the 5-speed, and thinking maybe the lack of low rev enhancement from the centrifugal blowers was a blessing in disguise.

Some day I definitely want to do this...

Without LSD, I bet it can do some serious one wheel burnouts (ala Bill Ball)...

While my S4 just has the intercooled Eaton S/C, not the Autorotor, the low end torque was amazing compared to my '89 GT. Boost is addictive. Would love to have the supercharger because they are just not out there anymore.

The throttle bracket is for an early 32V ('85-'86) and so are the cables. To make them work on a S4-up, the cables will need to go with the kit (you would need to replace them anyways to work with the S4-up manifold).

Hi, the stock 85/86 cables and bracket would not be included, this is not a "kit".
Your are correct for an S4 the cables would be relocated anyway using a stock like mounting location (not in front like S3) and using a cable from that location to the TB.

I would remove all the SC parts and include anything that wasn't stock on an 86 including the injectors if they were upgraded. I will also include the Cam covers as they are done in matching Wrinkle finish black and the ignition wires too as they are not stock for an 86.

I'm still hoping someone makes an offer on the entire setup as is
A lot of nice work went into this 86.5, no leaks, starts and idles nice and goes like

Thanks for looking,

Dave

I apologize, thought I was looking at an S4 and not an '86.5.

That's cool
And in reading another post looks like the 85/86 TB would be required to go w/ the SC as they were required on the S4 version of Andy Keel's kit.

Thanks for looking

Well the SC is sold, now I'm waiting on an interested buyer (~two weeks) to lock in the entire car w/SC package with all it's original parts that go with it to put it back to stock.

Was looking through the boxes and the Intake has 98% of the original coating and all the clamps are like new cad finish, will run them through the ultrasonic and post some pic's.

North of 450rwhp..and 420rwtq. Im at 10psi 'ish I haven't dyno'd mine now in the better part of 8...10yrs i think? wasnt even Sharktuned then. Still runs like stink! One of these days i will head back. VERY RELIABLE! not an issue with the set up. Just has to be well tuned which was where the Sharktuner was a Godsend!

Nice!!

Thanks for Sharing, I'm currently SC'd as well but with a Rotrex unit. Running about 11psi with an IC, I actually just installed Colins Tri-Flow cams, full Devek level II headers and Exhaust as well (I've yet to Dyno) But the look of these Twin Screw units just calls to me.
