I've dealt with MJ on numerous occasions and talk to him almost weekly. I consider him honest and a friend.

I'm going to guess that this is the result of a drunken evening and someone is very bitter about being used.

I know I seem cynical... but, I kind of think that she might be "catfishing" for "cancer" donations. Probably hits a bunch of random boards, causing a stir and hoping people google her to dig deeper, and then feel sorry for her. Then they crowdfund her rent...

But then, according to her twitter, she does like cars. Maybe there is a real connection. :P

...just read this. As a veterinarian I'm shaking my head. There's only one surgical procedure relevant for glaucoma and that's enucleation...removal of the whole globe. It's a salvage procedure when medical management fails.
The story just strikes me as a grifter looking to harvest some coins.

That was my impression when I made the earlier post about there not being many people with that name online.

There's another crowdfunding request up by the same name, for eye surgery for a dog - found via the person's facebook page coupled with a blog of posts "by the dog".
