You'd normally have to pay up to 50 cents a foot for this stuff at Pep Boys.
Grab it while it's HOT!!!!

Wish there was a close-up on that stuff, so I could see the gold plating a little more clearly...
If you ever need to do vac lines and want a nice German replacement, MB sells their stuff in 3 meter rolls and it works perfectly on the Porsche.
I guess if there is ever a liqiud nitrogen spill in my engine compartment, I'm sure I'll be kicking myself for not getting this stuff for $90...![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

He could at least spell it right - polyetheretherketone. It was developed by ICI, a company I used to work for, and is worth a few bucks a foot. But whether it is worth it in a practical sense for use in our application is another story. Check out the other items he has up for auction... I wonder if he is related to our eBay fraud buddy ?

PEEK (polyetheretherketone) tubing has practical applications in organic chemistry. This type of tubing has wonderful resistance to aggressive solvents and holds pressure up to approx. 5000 psi (liquid). I can't imagine why anyone would want to use it for vacuum tubing on any vehicle.
This guy is making a mint on it though that I can tell you.
