Default Brake Pedal Adjustment

Is there a adjustment on the brake pedal for height? Any sort of heel - toe work is very difficult because of the difference in height between gas and brake pedals. I have checked the archives and the manual but have found little on this topic.

Thanks

You can adjust the gas pedal. The floor has three positions to bolt the pedal.

Also along with the bolt hole placements my 89, 90 and 95 all had Heim joint turn buckles behind the gas pedal. This adjustment will let you adjust the pedal in and out about a 3/8s to 8mm. On my 95 and maybe not on my 89 there is a cable turn buckle that let me adjust the gas pedal in and out even more. Mines near the brake booster. I had to move mine about a 1/2inch or 13mm's up.

I adjusted mine like Bob Bondurant and Nelson Piquet suggested in their books. Between 3/8 and 1/2 inch below the brake plane when the brakes are at full boogie.

On tight SCCA events I can do a 3-1 on a 180 or 270 degree and the suspension barely knows I shifted.

Our SCCA group has lots of Miata's and a few Rotory MG Migits. I've learned to get up early and walk in between the course cone lay out guys and the chalkers. Why? so me and my Z06 friends can straighten out a few of thier,,,, go cart ish designs. I've become pretty good at cone kicking.
