Wow! Let me add my congrats. And another opportunity to remark on what a supportive and knowledgeable 928 community we have here on Rennlist.

Condition looks very workable, and that excellent single state paint color will react much more favorably to correction than metallic 2 stage colors.

Can't wait to see more of this car. Great to see 928's long underground and forgotten being resurrected!

Nice.

Now that's a sweet "Old Buggah" (OB) in European trim. I really like the early cars, in general, for the more interesting color schemes and interiors.

Where are you located? Please add that to your profile.

Rui,

Small world! When i was researching my CO car last year those pics of your car at the car show were the ONLY pics I could find of a Continental Orange 928. Like I said, it may be a pretty exclusive club, so far, number of members - 2 (although cars keep popping up so, who knows?).. Porsche did verify my car as an original CO car with Black/Blue Pascha, and from the look of yours the COA will verify yours as well. One unique feature I noticed on my car was that he factory utilized YELLOW primer (you could see the yellow where the Orange was rubbed/scratched).

Wish Porsche would release #'s of cars built in each color, but so far it appears they feel no need to do so.

Beautiful find. and congrats! Hope yo see it in person some day!

Club of 4. Another in the US, and one in Switzerland (however the latter is now Black, w/a Gembella conversion.

Also, there were more. Their whereabouts is just now known.

Here's the other US one...

Cheers Alex!

Yes, I spotted the yellow primer on mine too. Had to do a quick search while inspecting the car to make sure it was kosher!

Small world indeed and getting smaller by the day it seems!

Great find, great colour, great example of early originala model 928 with some lovely patina. Wow! I wish these could be found in Oz. Enjoy and try to retain that lovely patina during any restoration work you plan to do.

Cheers Tony

Very nice looking car, congratulations!

If you know another CO for sale, please let me know. A friend of mine tries to find a 1978 Euro in this unusual color.

Great car. Looks unmolested and in good original condition. Not bad for being 38 years old.

Love all of the pictures of the underside. Really doesn't look that bad, nothing a good steam cleaning wouldn't remedy. That black stuff looks like undercoating of some kind, but may be road grim...regardless...mineral spirits will take that off. Steam cleaning does not include the engine compartment and just be careful of the one hose within the passengers rear wheel-well...by tank...it has a soft-foam-like-coating that will be destroyed if hit to sharply.

Interesting routing of the clutch slave-cylinder line, nothing like my 78.

She really looks sharp on the topside.

Congratulations, again a=on a fine automobile.

Brian.
