Default Adjusting Headlight Bar

1984 928 S2 Auto
When I went to turn my headlights on today they decieded to jam.
They have never really lined up with the holes in the fenders and I have been meaning to fix it for a while and there is also quite a bit of side play so you can move the bar to get one correct and then the other one is out. It seems that the lights need to be pushed closer together around 10mm and the play in the bar minimalised. Is this something that can be adjusted?
It has basically jammed on the plastic cover so I will need to fix that up a bit

If I recall correctly, on the headlight bar there are adjustment points at both ends, they may be hard to see just under the guards at the front of the engine bay. The lights can be moved left or right independently of each other. Make sure the 3 screws that hold the plastic covers to the lights are secure.

thanks I think I solved it by loosening the bolts on the bar under the hood, there are 2 each end that I presume let the light slide inside the bar. now that I have done that I wonder if there is any adjustment forward/back to centralise that way as one is forward and the other one is back

It appears there are two bolts each side further under the guard past the bolts you have found so far. Looks like these are the fore and aft adjustment.
