I did not break any records, but nobody passed me, made it back to Ct. had to stop and tie wrap heater valve on the way looks like another project. It was great seeing everyone again and meeting new folks. I have reservations for sharks in the mountain see you there.

Very nice event, what amazing weather too! Found another bamberg in a $10 box of radios, rare in itself but considering that I found the exact same thing last year at the same price it is downright "cosmic"! Didn't buy much this year, I was mostly looking for 356 parts for a project I have going and significantly struck out in finding what was on that list.
Speaking of "what are the chances?" I was a bit late to the parking lot party at the white rose, and the lot was peppered with 928s and their captives (owners). I could only smile and shake my head when my hood release cable snapped after I pulled in and parked as several 928ers walked over to check out the latest arrival in the parking lot. I had that hood open about 200 times in the last three months, but that was the moment chosen for it to break LOL. Everyone was supportive and tools appeared from several directions before I could even access mine, and I had it open pretty quickly. Thanks for all of that brotherly energy everyone!
I got to see some more of this the next day as a spectacular 928 GTS was having what sounded like an intermittant spark miss. I watched one onlooker assist with diagnostics in a very productive manner for probably a half hour. I think he narrowed it down to a cylinder (original plug wires I think) Next year I'm bringing my durametric...it seemed so obvious to me at that moment that I should have it where there's 2000 Porsches parked in one place.
Saw some old friends, met some new, and missed the presence of one in particular (Jim Doerr) who makes a world of difference to us early car guys.
Each year there's one 928 that really stands out.. For me this year it was the coral red GT. I found myself going back again and again to just stare at that one. You know who you are... Put me on the list if you consider selling!
Hope to see all of you next year when I attempt a three-peat on the $10 bamberg.

Congratulations to Ed on his new trophy. The 928's at the Concours were SPECTACULAR this year. You guys really turned out well for this widely attended event. LOTS of good vibes among the attendees who don't know much about 928's I'm sure.
SO good to see old friends again, and to meet a few new ones. Looking forward to another great 'reunion' at Frenzy in the fall.

Thanks to all who came by and helped purge some of my E&O inventory.
Congrats to Ed.
Thanks for the lunch Gary.
Good to see Earl again.
Sorry I didn't get a chance to mingle some more, I heard there were some great looking 928s as usual.
Looking forward to the Frenzy.

Thanks to everyone except "Wayne the Twister" (what kind of car is that?). Had a great time and a lot of laughs. Looking forward to Frenzy!
In case anyone needs confirmation, no Tony does not snore, but I also don't think he sleeps either.
