Pod Switch Connectors - P/N?

Pod Switch Connectors - P/N?
Happy New Year, all.
Been away for a while doing some boring interior work, and finally got around to getting the whole dash out of the car.
As I pulled the Pod out, I found that a couple of the connectors for the Hazard, Headlamps, Odometer, etc were crumbly/melted.
I'm going to switch one of them with the orphaned rear fog lamp one that's tucked away (assuming that it's the same), but have been trying to find a P/N for another via the PET and have been unsuccessful.
I'm going to hit up 928intl tomorrow, but figured I'd see if I'm just missing something.
Thanks!

Had me worried that I missed something obvious there when I got the email notification of your reply
Your second image is the one that I was honing in on in the PET...I'm scrounging around in Google a bit to see if I can find something and will report back with the 928intl convo tomorrow.

PET won't help with connector part numbers, it only shows parts which can be purchased-- and connectors are included with the harness.
The part# for the dash harness for an '82 is 928-612-003-20 as best as I can determine, with a price tag of $2503.25. Check with Roger for stock levels and what he can do with pricing.
That's the bad news. The good news is that 928 Int'l lists that harness for $400, and it is only 11 months until the next half-price sale.
It's worth a call to Tom or Mark to find out if they have any connectors off of a dead harness, but my guess is that buying a used harness would be the best option-- and a treasure-trove of connectors which might come in handy in the next 30 years.

Many of the 928 electrical connectors are actually the same as those listed in the 944 PET. The hard part is deciphering which part number you actually need. Based on the 944 PET description and the picture P/N 911.612.120.00 seems to be a match. It is listed as a"Connector Housing 6,3 9 pole."
YMMV and no gaurantee of applicability is implied.

If you're really in a jam and can't access any connectors, you could just go through the microsurgery of placing female (I think - or male - no matter) wirelock spade connectors on the ends of the harness wires, and individually attach them to the switch(es). Leave enough slack to them so they'll come out with the switch if you have to pull them. Label/color code the wires in your journal, and use a black Sharpy on the white base of the switch to label for re-attachment.

ammonman - Brilliant! Sure does look like it fits, and the price ain't bad either (~$4). I'll pick up a couple and see how it goes.
Maine - yea...that is my fallback, but I'd like to keep things structurally close to original as possible.

To close this one out:
I got one of the replacement units, compared it to what's in the car today and tested the fit against one of the Pod switches, and all looks good.
Off I go to do the install. Thanks again for the suggestion!
