Speaking of events, I just noticed this one upcoming at Andy's place:

>Tech Night Scan Auto March 3rd (North Vancouver)

Good chance to talk 928's as well. They have experience, serviced more than a few GTS's in the past. I did see a grey GTS there back in the day, some really cool wheels on it. SCAN did a lot of the work on the white 5 spd rebuild project too.

Haven't been there in years since the move to Vcr Island. But I do see a nice White 911GT3 parked close to my place in Kits with Scan plate holders.

Hi Shark_gts,

My car was originally sold and driven in Germany. It was then exported to Japan and that's where I found it, hence the lack of the usual render flares.

I only really had to take out the Cat temp sensor required by Japanese law.

Other than Colin leaving his greasy finger prints on it every now and again.. it's a good car.

Cheers!!

My GTS is on its way to Germany - by container shipping. Bit of drama driving it to vancouver courtesy a small deer lying on the road, but got that sorted - then prepped everything for shipping. Gave a quick detail/wax and we loaded it up to go to the shipping facility.

Yep sold.

In Europe cars travelling upwards of 200-300K km's is quite normal, and they are not afraid of service. Plus he's getting a great GTS at much below market for over there.
