Communicated with this guy but he doesn't want to bother with answering my questions. Pictures are terrible!

I was looking at that listing this morning.

Price sure is going up quickly considering the bad pics.

Wonder where it'll end up.

It does looks like a good prospect.

He touts that it did have the battery replaced & the coolant flushed back in 2001; And mentions the "two small dash cracks....", but I counted four in his pic.

I saw this car on Bring a Trailer this morning. That usually brings a lot more exposure. I have an 85 5-speed so I'm curious what it sells for. I'm not looking to sell, just curious.

According to the seller it has a "Racing Clutch." Love that blue.

Yeah, 2 small dash cracks Ha Ha. This is what I mean about the deception this guy is pulling. A good prospect if it goes for under $10K.

I have learned that when people don't want to answer questions and have bad pictures ... RUN!

No maintenance records (that means) a full T-belt job is needed, coolant flushed 15 years ago! Why even mention that.

So interior work, 5k, engine refresh, t-belt, intake, mm's, pan = $$$, race clutch could= a bad clutch, how would he know that w/o paperwork??? and condition of paint is an unknown, although I do like the color

agree on the 10k or under

Because that is what the previous owner 'told' him was done...

it is e-bay...maybe the seller has more than one account or friends willing to run up the bids...happens all the time. Shill bidding is not unusual at ANY auction.....as long as it costs nothing it is hard to stop.

Also, note: seller's feedback score is all based on buying, not selling. The mileage and "garage kept" claim do not match what even the poor pictures show of this car. Buyer beware. It is about an hour or so from me in Florida, but I can't make it to see it before the auction ends (nor do I believe it would be worth the effort!).

Garage kept... not likely. Pictures have a car cover lying next to it on the ground. Interior hasn't seen a vacuum cleaner in a very long time. Under the hood appears to be neglected as well - very dirty with lots of grime. Looks like an outside car to me. Note to seller: If you wanna sell a car, try washing, waxing & vacuuming at least prior to taking pictures. Your only $20K away from a $10K car...

Sorry, but if the car looks this bad, then what else has been neglected...
