Ok I'll be first...
Thanks to everyone that made it to Blanco today and helped make the event a great success. We had perfect weather, cool temps, and awesome BBQ. There was a wide variety of 928's from near perfect GTS's to stripped down track cars. I believe the final count was 29 cars.
Saturday, the Houston caravan of 5 928's had a fun drive to Bastrop, then met up with 2 more 928's. After lunch we joined up with the Austin area PCA's Porschedillo drive already in progress. These guys know how to pick back roads. What a blast it was to run with 30 or 40 Porsches of all types and ages through the beautiful hill country of Texas. I'll never forget the sound of the 700HP 930 turbo running in front of me when he decided to pass, unbelievable! The drive ended up in Blanco and we had an enjoyable dinner with with these very hospitable folks. It was great to meet a bunch of 911 owners that actually wanted to hear all about the 928 and seemed to have a genuine respect for it.
Also, thank to sponsors Devek, 928 International and 9 Magazine for providing lots of great door prizes.
I'm left with the same feeling that I had after last year's gathering, I've got to get my car out on the highway more, what a blast.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

928 Owners are ".....a secret sect of quietly assured Porsche pragmatists who in near anonymity appreciate the prodigious, easy going prowess of the 928."![thumbsup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigok.gif)
