Cars with Red Interiors
Is it just my imagination, or has there been a lot of cars with red interiors lately on ebay?

And do you think a passenger in the back seat could hear the stereo in this one?

I love red interiors. I'm planning on painting the interior on my black S4 red. I think it's the perfect combination of tacky and class. Thanks for the link. I've been looking for a black 928 with a nice red interior for some time now.

That's the only one I like. I like it all black with the red seats. And it has to have that factory look. The 2 tone stuff kills me. I hate it on the new M5's and S4's also. I have to change all my carpets/door panels to black and paint my seats red.

Gah!
Can't say I like the red interiors much.
I can see the shock factor, or contrast factor, with maybe yellow seats.
But the two tone thing is not my cup of tea.
Either go all the way, and have a really extreme interior, or leave it one color...
The little "accents" are just too "ricey" for me...
80's stlye also... Not even 90's or 2000 ricey...
With the 928, at least go for the carbon fiber and alumimum look, if you are going to add accents. The colors are just a bit much...

E-Bay ... " The smooth rumble of this V8 260HP 5.7 liter is remarkable (automatic). It drinks a lot of gas but rides so smooth - there are no mechanical problems-................." Yes that would be remarkable if it were a 5.7 or 260 hp , also wonder what the rear A/C unit is doing in a 1980 but it matches the later model seats !

I think the true beauty of this car is that it can be futuristic with a foot still stuck in the past (thus my like of the tacky red interior). I will say this though. In terms of style, class, and beauty the current leader has to be BMW. They have some of the nicest color combinations. The new M3 drop top? Some really nice interior color choices. Either way. I like that red!!!

That's not red, THIS is red:

If you plan on doing anything like that to your 928 you also better plan to keep it forever - the one above, which is otherwise a very nice car and at a very low price (from a Danish perspective), has been for sale for 2.5 years, and I didn't see a crowd of people fighting to get to it when I was last there either.
...And, believe it or not, it looks less nauseating in those pictures than it does when you actually sit in it.

My first 928 was an '84 5speed S, grand prix white with cancan red full leather interior. It was awesome! The white and red really set it apart from all of the black/black 928s we see so often. I really did love the red interior (red seats, red carpet, with black dash, console, headliner, sail panels, etc, not all red like that German one). Then again, I really like that Pasha checkerboard cloth, too...

Mine's Grand Prix white with the cancan and black trim interior. I didn't like it when I first saw it, but now it's grown on me and I think it looks great!
The colors are a little faded, so one day (ie somewhere on that long to do list) I'll redye them. Has anyone done this with the Leatherique products? I've used their rejuvenating oil and cleaner with good success.

Wow Niels - That's red!! But you know, I think I like it the best out of all the red interiors. If your going to to go extreme, go big and take it all the way. That's what that car did and it works . . . I think . . . .
