All it took was this:

Strip car bare and take apart

Have them reform the fenders after the color coat is down. Pounded out by hand and reshaped.
(Putty is for sanding so they can see where is high and where is low)

You could probably skip the stripping of the whole car bare and just have the rear quarters stripped, formed and repainted when you are done.

This shop would be more than happy to do it for you.

Jeff, I was very patient and visited mine in the shop every couple weeks for 9 months .......but I also spent less than $11K. Your 928 looks great!
