Thanks for posting Bob. I never get tired of seeing that car. It is the car that got me hooked on the early ones and led to my quest for Blumaxx.
Kermit is the standard.

Interesting car and story, but that's a ton of money, which to me, looks at least 3xs overpriced, even for all the "goodness" of this example. GLWS, seller.

Well, BluMax's almost 'evil twin' is also for sale auf Deutschland. Less than 24K miles, less than $100,000!

Time capsule cars are a weird market. It may sell today, or it may be 2 years from now. Almost zero predictability. One thing will make it more likely is some kind of media attention. If it gets on the internet and becomes a fickle buzz for a few hours it'll sell. Otherwise, don't be in a rush.

The recent Pano lists a couple of 911 Turbos over $200k (US)

I'll wait 'till the GTSs hit that level then.......go for a drive

Was for sale back in July 2015:
http://www.weekendheroes.com/en/inve...78-porsche-928

Was marked as SALE PENDING:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...nal-miles.html

Either buyer fell thru, or market phishing.

That is one of the best ones out there. I love the color of Blue 82, and the story was great.

....and to think I originally bought it for ~$18k back in 2004 if memory serves. I enjoyed my time with the car and rescuing it but, was very happy to pass it on. No need/room for garage art.
