Default ?Euro Spark Plugs?

Just took these out of my new to me Euro S engine.

All 8 cylinders spark plugs look the same and appear to be rich carbon deposits. Are these Euro Spark Plugs? Don't recognize them. Can I still use bosch copper spakr plugs?

thanks

Those are not stock, trash em, no added value there either.

Your right they do look to be a bit on the rich side, however if it's an auto and you putt around in high gear say 45/50 mph in "D" then expect them to look like that.
If you keep the rpm in the sweet spot when driving 2500 to 3500 then they should be cleaner looking.
The MAF's age also comes into play w/ the mixture.

You can't draw a conclusion on rich vs normal vs lean when trying to read from those plugs. Consider installing a set of the original-spec plgs, correct heat range and tip configuration etc, and visit the plugs again. Best reading means a hard drive, shut off and coasts to the side of the road, pull and inspect plugs. Otherwise the plug colr will reflect conditions at low load or idle, the lest operations the plugs 'remember'.

Frame those old plugs and add them to your own personal 'wall of shame', the review of things that didn't live up to expectations. My current wall is full, and I'm trying to at least rein in the additions at this point. Space.... The Final Frontier!
