Default Crack in exhaust upstream of O2 sensor

Mr. Curiosity here,
Was doing one final check of the underside of my '82 before I brought her off lift bars and I found a 0.50" crack in the exhaust just upstream of the O2 sensor.

I've since patched it up, but I'm curious as to what, if anything, that might have done to the sensor analysis.

Thanks!

If it was sucking air, it would have read lean.

Coolio. What I was thinking it would do, and might explain the lean condition I had earlier this year.

Have a great Sunday!

It will crack again. It did on my '83. Ended up replacing it with an aftermarket Y pipe.
