Granted, the weekend was simply fantastic...but...there's just something about being home.
Even thought about going out back and playing in the mud with my rover, since you will find some red if you look close around my neck area (although, I do know the 928 never came in a turbo model...lol...inside joke).
But, the grass needed mowed...so all "mudding" was put on hold.
Okay, that's the neighbors hay field...but our grass looked similar.
And...whomever it was that said..."life on a farm is kind of laid back"...must have never been around when the work needed to be done...lol.
Great weekend, hanging with new 928 and saying howdy to a couple old ones.
This car did not disappoint! Was great in the pictures and even better in person...nice job Brian.
Thank you, Andrew.
But, I'm sorry to say...it "did" disappoint...me. While out for our drive Sunday...the front turn signal blub burned out. So, I've gone ahead and contacted Porsche, voicing my disappointment with their product...and asked for a full refund of original purchase price...or they could help simmer my disappointment with a new 918.

Still waiting for their reply...
Brian.
Could go either way Brian, methinks they will take the car back and refund in full, as they have been searching endlessly for the super rare, one of a kind 928 fitted with a "blub" by a disgruntled employee back in the day, it will, I am sure be stored in the museum...

Yep, at this very moment...there's probably fifty or sixty top excutives searching through endless volumes of diagrams and schematics...wondering what the he**'s a "blub" anyway.
Note to self...hire a proof reader.
Also, I want the purchase price back in full...didn't say anything about them getting the car back...lol.
I wholeheartedly concur with Drooman. Brian's car is even better in the flesh. I love that interior. And knowing what all has been done to get this car to where it is (see posts #1 through #190, more or less) makes it even more impressive. Plus, I am a sucker for guards red 928s. Yes, someday I will have one of my own!
Brian, You have done a spectacular job on the 1978 #225. Very impressed with the attention to detail. It inspires me to get my #280 back on schedule !! So, Do you enjoy driving the black car or the red car most and why?
