So A) if your conversion needs the HVAC fan connector extended so it'll reach, B), you can wait 6 weeks or so, and C), you don't mind paying ~$25 in connectors, wire and shipping, I can make up a couple of sets.

Or anyone can order the pins, the part #'s are:

This is the extensions installed:

I'll take one when you are able to get to it Rob.

Don't need them now. I'll be glad to pay for the connectors though if you went and bought them. You can pay it forward to someone. Let me know.

Very nice of you Jeff. Question: How did you address the issue without the pigtail from Rob?

I ground out the side of the center console until the plug fit. Had plenty of room.

Is it possible to get one of these double din inserts that accepts the original HVAC vents?

AMP/ Tyco Electronics made those pins/ connector in Germany. I think they are still available to request sample from US and they ship it here from Germany. Don't say it's for Porsche application because if it's designed exclusively for Porsche then they won't give it to you.

I made the same request for BMW specific pins and connector to build the harness for my Navigation and TV harness retrofit in my 740.
