Default 85 MPH Speedo

Hi everyone,

Maybe this has been asked before but I was unable to find a thread so here goes.

What is involved in changing my 85MPH speedo to a 170MPH model?

Thanks in advance.

Just need to swap one in....requires removing steering wheel instrument pod etc. Also you will be plugging unplugging the connectors for the foil and plastic circuit board....a old fragile no longer available part.

Hi James,

No need to change the circuit board or the sender unit? Will the "new" speedo head register correct speed?

Thanks

Correct...just needs Speedo. You can also get yours converted with a new face and calibrated....North Hollywood Speedometer did this...
