Default L-Jet brain rebuild

Who can check out the L-Jet brain for proper function and perhaps rebuild or provide a rebuilt unit at a reasonable cost?

Thanks

Well the symptoms are: At 4000 rpms exactly, the revs fall off, tach drops, almost like the fuel has been shut off. But this symptom is only very intermittent.

Once the revs go below 4K, it works as advertised. Prior to 4000 rpms, the engine pulls hard, no problems at all. The engine is a total rebuilt about 8000 miles ago.

Everything besides the brain has been checked, rebuilt or replaced. I did an ohm check on the brain per the WSM and the resistance values are way off.

All ignition components are new, spark box has been checked, fuel dampers are good, injectors have been rebuilt by WitchHunter, AFM is a new rebuilt unit, fuel pump and filter are less than 3 years old, no vacuum leaks, all lines are new.

The topper is: if you remove power to the brain by disconnecting the harness at the ECU and let it sit for a few minutes then reconnect, the problem goes away. It almost like the brain resets itself.

The engine will then rev past 6000 rpm with no fall off or hesitation.

If anyone can suggest something other than the brain, please suggest away.

Thanks for the contacts.

I agree with Mark - never heard of one failing. Swap out with another one. I have a loner I can let you have for the price of shipping.

I sold the car and it is located in Maryland.

The 4000 rpm hesitation is a new problem and I'm trying to help the guy out.

Roger, i will tell him about your offer.

Thanks
