If you do want to take a crack at it, I have a little tool box full of about everything needed for 944 maintenance you are welcome to use. Screwdrivers, sockets, box wrenches, pliers...the basics.

Most of the stuff should be the same right?

I am also in Northridge.

Thanks for the offer. PM me if you want to come check it out but I have a firm date with GB on the 18th of January. I seriously considered diving into myself but having Greg poke around inside the motor I'm 100% sure he will find something I would never see.
