Sure the budget is important factor, but I think VCB's kits are a little cheaper than Murf's. And yes, there are TS kit's, but for about the same pricing range as for TT.
I imagine that all SC kits are pretty reliable, regardless of the kit. The differences seems to be in the model of SC you choose.Turbology probably dictates more power, but will necessitate more mods to be as 'safe of usage' (they might deliver more poundage, but they also pull hard on the ex valves & springs...).
Like you said 'who need's it' ,except maybe for those who want to compete against the undrgrd racing boyz...
