There was another version of the Pascha dial that had larger blocks, so it looked less busy.

I really appreciate your occasional loss of sanity to do one of these, Shawn. I am definitely in if you can do a larger dial one --light or dark. Thinner style another huge plus. Same design fine with me.

I have the others , still wrapped up, but will definitely buy 2 dials.

The last Laco 928 watch [mines still NIB] on ebay was asking $2000, so this is a bargain

At the risk of approaching copyright infringements, maybe some of the design elements from the Laco 928 watch could be incorporated?

- The mixture of white and red hours and minute marks (simulating a tachometer), and hour, minute, and second hands.
- The "Made in Germany" script
- The use of only the 9, 2, and 8 hour indicators

I would personally have the rear wing added to this design, and think a reverse image with white background with a mixture of red and black numbers, hour and minute marks, etc. would look just as nice.

The lead on the design of the Lacoe watch specifically asked that we not copy his dial, but he was okay with the end design of the last Seiko dial.

I'm willing to talk about it and Harold said he can do a dial for any watch, but I'm not hopeful we'll find another movement with the same combination of ubiquity, support, and price.

Maybe something for the ETA 2824 or Citizen 8200, but I think you'll find the ETAs are prohibitively expensive and that Citizens just aren't modded.

Did you have something in mind?

Since we don't have a Photoshop wizard available at the moment, my vote is for a white dial that is the reverse of the black one you did last year, with the same design & logos. Would keep it simple and get the ball rolling towards production without much delay in agreeing on a new design. Could be the match to the 1st design. It'd be an awesome look, maybe better than that black one. The Pascha design can be fine tuned for the 3rd run of Seikos, & we could start on ideas for that one whenever you're feeling ready to do that run. Here's my feeble unprofessional attempt to get an idea of how a reverse design might look.

Just throwing this out there.

How about GULF colors? No "GULF" logo or anything, just the colors.

Shawn, I know absolutely nothing about projects like this. Here's an idea, though. The guy who runs this catalog seems to have a feel for appealing to upscale/collector niches. He also offers a lot of watches. HerringtonCatalogs.com Wonder if he might be able to help you make something great happen?

I could learn to love that one.

As to Pascha, I would like to see the pattern done in a subtle brushed effect rather than a stark, high contrast print.

I do find this quite nice, particularly when combined with a black sports look case. Could maybe take some more red at 2:30-4:00 to give the tacho effect.
Seikos offer wide choice for the case and remains an excellent price/quality ratio.
Shawn thank again for renewing the experience , please count me in for 2.
Cheers

That actually looks pretty cool.

That would also look nice. A Gulf blue background with everything else orange (the lume can also be orange).

I'll take a look, Brad. I think Herrington probably orders in bulk and resells, rather than setting up a custom piece.

Oh... alright.

I'm in....again.

Shawn, we are not worthy but we humbly accept you taking this project on, again.

Count me in again. I get a lot of 'where'd ya get that?' on the other one.
