Default 928 AFM differences ?

i have been dealing with a running rich issue on my 1981 Ljet US 5sp 928..

my question is this .. the original AFM bosch part # is 0 280 203 015

i got a used unit to test for a difference but the bosch part # is 0 280 203 009

it came off a porsche.. but im not sure if this is going to work properly with my car... i swapped it in and the car starts and runs the same(very rich)...

also just as a test i UNPLUG the AFM with the car running and there is no difference in idle or performance.. still runs very rich..

any insight is greatly appreciated.. ive been working on this car for almost 3 months and still cant figure out the problem soo please help if you can.

thanks Bruno

Forget what I said in the other post about the green wire.

Check the switches on the throttle, idle and wot.
Could be the O2 sensor, if its old I would swap it out.

Google of 0 280 203 009 and 928 I see no matches, so doubt it is correct.

thats weird... i always thought when the AFm was disconnected it wouldnt run at all ..... but its been awhile!

that AFM "number" might be a casting number , not the actual part number
