What a cool old car- other than the radio, the ungo box, and the K&N air filter, it is _really_ original.

Some nice detail shots:

Minerva Blue:

Every time I see a Stant radiator cap, I wonder, 'why?'

Are you sure that car wasn't supposed to be delivered to Jim Doerr? Looks like something right up his alley ...

Neat car!
Thx for photo-doc'ing it, Rob.
My guess is it's already sold... Wish it was me, but was not.
Way to go with saving this one, Mark! I applaud you.

Jim, holler if there are any pics that would be instructive for you to see.

Interesting. #277 is the same, I figured the anodizing had rubbed off the door lock and it was some aftermarket gas cap.

How about these:

Curious if #277 is the same - it's originally a California car.

IIRC the very early models had chrome door lock surrounds.

When did they change the center vent (most early ones I've seen have the dial right next to the vent). This one looks like the normal 79 version?

In reality, all 928s are cool old cars.

I bought an '88 in California that had an UNGO system. While driving it back to Texas across the desert, one of the many UNGO boxes decided to jump out onto my feet. It felt like a giant spider because of all the wires and glancing down to see what it was at 100+, it looked like a giant spider.

I damn near came out of the sunroof

Next exit, that particular UNGO box was the first one of many to be removed from the car.

My '81 Z-28 had an Ungo Box alarm. As I recall, they were one of the better ones back in the day.

99.9% sure that center vent was replaced at one point, it's just sort of slapped in there- doesn't look like it fits. I'm sure Mark's got a correct one there somewhere.
