hey you guys,
anyone have some experiential advice? i am thinking of a 50-75hp wet kit and specificaly i was wondering about the rev limiter which cuts fuel supply at aprox 6300rpm. any way around this? running out of fuel pressure whilst injecting nitros cant be good! also what size bottle is recommended?
i think a progressive controller to moderate the initial boost would be the way to go also.

Nick,
You need someone to get into the EPROM code to do the kind of mods you need
You could try asking these guys - http://www.scotsglen.com/saab/ecu/index.htm
They are making some progress with working out the code for your type of LH ECU (LH 2.2)
Regards

I think it would still be safe, since the wet NOS systems come with their own fuel injection nozzles, to add extra fuel. So if the stock setup is delivering less fuel, it will also deliver less air. As long as the stock system is running as it is supposed to, the NOS should always have adequate fuel to prevent detonation...

in the workshop manual the rev limiter is described simply as an interruption of fuel supply. i am wondering at what level this occurs, is it at the fuel pump or further downstream ie injectors?
the concern is that the NOS systems fuel will come from one of the fuel rails and at redline if supply is interrupted prior to this i would have NOS and diminishing fuel!
cracking the eprom codes dosent sound so straightforward but i will investigate.

Well, I'm not really familiar with the 928 options for chips, but I know for 944's and such, the rev limiter can be raised a few hundred with aftermarket chips installed. This could help, so you could shift at redline like normal but not worry about the rev limit kicking in... just a thought!
