1994 928 GTS for sale, but not too cheap though

Technically, you're probably right as used cars don't usually sell for full asking price. However, seeing how pristine GTSs have been selling for north of $100K since at least 2009, how can you be so sure this one won't go for $125K? I know of at least three, the highest being $109,500 (in 2011). Another one comes to mind, the Midnight Blue 94GTS with no sunroof, but I haven't been able to find what it went for. A quick phone call to Michael Willhoit would probably yield others...

I saw that ad a few days ago also.
Wish I didn't sell my '87 5sp w/lsd. Been casually looking for another 87 or newer 5sp.

Yes you could, but could you work on it or afford parts? I'm not questioning you; I use the "you" as collective. A friend has a '95. He bought it because it was the last MY in which you don't have to remove engine to replace clutch. One year newer and it is stupid expensive job on the Ferrari. Parts also crazy, so I'm just saying even though we complain about parts, relatively speaking this car is still a winner overall.

and so am I. Just sold the 94 GTS and plan to keep the 6spd manual 79/80 hybrid. Merely going by market trends and what the GT's & GTS's actually sell for. T

Much for what? one of the best GT cars ever made to cruise the country or you rather do that in a 356 or early 911?
I have owned them all and for me nothing beats the GTS doing this even today.
For those that can keep these cars in good running condition these facts, let's them enjoy and drive these marvels of car engineering, for those that want to speculate on the price that they will bring it's matter of time, desire or staying power to see when supply and demand is really going to be a factor.
Happy motoring, H

Why any 356 sells for more than cheapest 550 Maranello? They are much slower and almost useless as daily driver. Because people want them. Same with 928 GTS. Some people want them enough to pay $100K or more to get late low miles example. There aren't many such cars and more and more people have means to get those few cars. GTS is in fact more rare than 550. Especially in USA.

care to elaborate? How so? What are the differences? I always understood Porsche to be world class, second to none of the other marques (but equal to or better). I love Ferraris (especially the 360) so I am curious.
