Default 1994 928 GTS for sale, but not too cheap though

No affiliation.

My local Porsche dealer has gotten its hands on a 928 GTS, and is offering it up for sale... if you have a spare $125K to spend.

If it goes for that price my 89 S4 will look pretty pimp rolling down the Main Line.

Ferraris gonna hate...

Great to see prices climbing, but that seems a bit much.

A good friend of mine knows the one of the guys at the dealership. We texted him about the price. The low mileage plus low production numbers of manual GTS is the reason for the high price. Not sure it should be that high, but if it sells, I'm probably looking pretty good with my manual s4!

You can get an F430 for that price at that dealership as well. That's a good sign to me.

Default Much...???

Much for what? one of the best GT cars ever made to cruise the country or you rather do that in a 356 or early 911?

I have owned them all and for me nothing beats the GTS doing this even today.

For those that can keep these cars in good running condition these facts, let's them enjoy and drive these marvels of car engineering, for those that want to speculate on the price that they will bring it's matter of time, desire or staying power to see when supply and demand is really going to be a factor.

Happy motoring, H

A very nice and exceptional car.

Worth every $ to me.

Great professional photo shoot too.

C'mon.. For that much you could get a killer Ferrari 550-575. I'm with you the gts is one of the best gt cars ever but it's no 550-575 Ferrari.
Nevertheless, good to see the prices rise.

Different strokes for different folks. My dad has a V12 Fezza (which he loves) and still agrees that there is just something special about the GTS.

Very subjective of course, but the styling of the 550 does not (IMHO) come even close to the timeless styling of the 928. Plus, the 550 is a newer car, and there is no doubt that if the 928 had continued as a model, it too would have seen displacement increases and large HP increases, easily matching the prancing horse. Don't get me wrong, I love Ferraris. I think the Enzo may be the most beautiful car ever designed, and the 458 is special, as are a good number of the others (I'd eventually like a 308/328 in the stable with Blumaxx). But the GT class Ferraris are not as desirable to me as the Porsche 928. I think a $125K GTS is not outlandish, and Wilhoit has gotten numbers close to that for the GTS already.

Yeah Jason, you got a heck of a deal!! And that GTS doesn't even come with a 'parts trailer'!!!

See ya' all at Frenzy - bringing LOTS of '87+ model year parts at 'close out' prices

I especially liked the selling pitch, "own a piece of Porsche history." Ha, since when has the 928 been treated as a piece of history worth remembering? Changing attitudes one step at a time. . .
