If you go PC, Prismatic Powders has a specialty powder called 'Feathered Bronze' that's very close to original. Get a color swatch ordered first if you go this route as they don't always mix it up right! Tell your prefered Powdercoater to order up a few pounds for your job.
Note: this intake has a 60% gloss clearcoat on top.
Paint should be an easier match if you bring a color sample to your local auto paint supplier.

Of course, I have also seen a few photos of people's cars who thought the beige was the factory colour and had it matched when refinishing their engine bay

I worked for the printing company that printed many of the Porsche brochures and magazine inserts.
Those were the days when we had a difficult time getting silver and grey's to look correct. Grey computer boxes were really difficult. Times have changed but then we focused more on interiors and exteriors. Everything was a compromise

They turn beige over time with heat cycles and engine bay fumes ... look at old white paint in many other applications, and you'll see what age, heat, pollutants, etc, does to painted surfaces in extreme environments (which an engine bay definitely is).
